Operator. Producer. Connector.
I’m Kestrel Ambrose, an events and operations professional with nearly a decade of experience across sectors that don’t always talk to each other but share the same underlying need: someone who can hold a lot of moving parts without dropping any of them.
My career has taken me from managing event logistics at a large New York City church, to supporting academic operations across a charter school network, to public affairs work in the U.S. Army Reserve. What connects all of it is a consistent ability to assess what a situation needs, build the structure to meet it, and execute without losing sight of the people the work is actually for.
I’m drawn to mission-driven organizations and teams where the operational work is taken seriously, where events are seen as more than just logistics, and where being thorough and being warm aren’t considered opposites.
Outside of my professional roles, I lead my own outdoor experiences company and a social wellness community in New York City, both of which have deepened my ability to build programming, manage community, and produce experiences from the ground up.
I’m currently open to full-time opportunities in event production and operations, particularly with organizations whose work I can genuinely get behind.
