A curated look at my professional background across events, operations, and community programming.
Event Management & Community Programming
Renaissance Church
Events Manager
Built and ran the event and community programming infrastructure for a fast-growing 1,000-person congregation in Harlem.
From flagship productions at iconic New York City venues to capital campaign events and grassroots community programming, I owned the full event lifecycle across a wide and varied portfolio. I also designed and launched Renaissance Meetups, a volunteer-led small groups program that grew from a summer pilot to a year-round community infrastructure serving 364 active participants across 20+ groups.
- Produced Easter at the Apollo Theater, one of only a handful of dedicated worship services in the venue’s history, across two sold-out back-to-back programs serving ~3,060 attendees
- Led the pre-launch event series for the In Harlem as It Is in Heaven capital campaign, which closed with $3.28M in pledges against a $3M Dream goal
- Produced Church & Chill 2024, reimagining the annual summer event from three separate service parties into one unified outdoor experience for the full congregation
- Managed Christmas Toy Store annually, serving 275 families and 1,081 children with toys, books, and on-site community resources
- Designed and launched Renaissance Meetups community, growing from 8 pilot groups to 20+ active groups and 250+ participants within the first year
